On May 8th 2021 the Employer had being inspected the CGC key pipe-laying site in downtown where is in front of president secretary office on Galle Face, landmark of Colombo, with video recording by National Water Ministry’s reporter. He inspected CGC’s management, technical ability, construction site management, safety measures and other aspects of the project, and the Employer satisfied the performance of CGC.
The NRW project is Sri Lanka's first smart-water project. The existing water supply system in Colombo is very old and unstable. The completion of the project has resulted in not only improvement of Colombo water supply system, also will be the best sample for application of smart-water in country. In the increasingly severe Colombo epidemic environment, due to his trust in us, the Employer specially chose our construction site to record the propaganda video of the Water Ministry. We performed the work efficiently and safely, while it being successfully completed the work was video recorded.
The NRW project overcame numerous difficulties and CGC going to completed as per schedule. This inspection reflected the high efficiency management ability of CGC, and also demonstrated the maturity of local management by localization.
