3rd January 2022. Mr. Vasudewa Nanayakkara (Minister of Colombo Water Board) and Mr. Chen Chen(Chairman of ADB) visited The NRW project of CGC in Colombo with Mr. Nishantha Ranatunga (Chairman of Water Board). Mr. Rasheed (Project Director) has introduced programme design and construction about NRW project to them. It also shows the improvements the project will bring to Colombo’s water supply system. CGC received high praise from minister and Chairman of ADB for CGC good compliance and building capacity.

NRW project is the first intelligent hydraulic project in Sri Lanka. After the completion of the project, It will make water management more modern and standardized in Colombo. After The minister of water Board listened the report of the scientific design of the project, the high standard of construction and the convenience which will bring to the society, he gave a high evaluation of the construction progress and good quality of the project. He said he hoped we could speed up the progress and finish the project with high quality and contribute more to improving the smart management of Colombo city and thanked us for our efforts, especially he admitted China Geo works with good progress and quality.
